Installation

Converting your Coast Flap Eliminator is quick and straightforward:

Step 1: Remove the existing hook ends from your Coast Flap Eliminator and install these Fiamma Hook End Adaptors.

Step 2: Replace the original spigots with the Fiamma compatible Spigot End Adaptors (SKU: 200-12432).

Step 3: Install the hook adaptor brackets (included with your Coast Flap Eliminator Kit) inside the Fiamma awning casing.

For correct positioning:

  • Align the outer end of the elongated bracket with the edge of the awning fabric.
  • Position the bracket approximately 20mm below the underside of the awning fabric.
  • On most Fiamma awnings, the bracket mounts directly beneath the raised internal channel within the awning casing.

Important Compatibility Information

Before purchasing, please ensure your Fiamma awning has sufficient clearance for the mounting bracket.

Some Fiamma awnings have limited space beside the internal shock absorber, preventing installation of the supplied bracket.

As a guide:

  • The bracket hole should align with the outer edge of the awning fabric.
  • There must be at least 100mm between the end of the aluminium awning casing (excluding the plastic end caps) and the shock absorber knuckle.
  • If this clearance is unavailable, these adaptors will not be compatible with your awning.
